A Studio Born Over Risotto

Hi! My name is Rebecca, I’m the face behind Saphrosphere, a half Hungarian, half Italian designer specialising in visual communication and fashion design.

Saphrosphere was created on a sunny afternoon while cooking Risotto alla Milanese, a dish known for its rich saffron colour and simple elegance. After years of obsessively adding saffron to nearly every meal like a Victorian aristocrat with a spice addiction, I became fascinated by how such delicate red strands could transform an entire dish into a vibrant gold.

That idea became the foundation of Saphrosphere: a small studio with the intention of creating bold, meaningful impact through design.

Less philosophically, it’s also simply a celebration of my favourite dish, my love for cooking, and Italian culture, where Saphrosphere was originally born.
