RAIS Store Angel Capsule Collection SS24
Made in Heaven.
I had the opportunity to collaborate with RAIS Store on their first capsule collection centred around the theme of angels. The project combined contemporary streetwear with nostalgic visual references, exploring ideas of connection, memory, and communication through both the garments and the packaging experience.
The collection incorporates retro-inspired graphics directly into the garments, including crossword puzzle prints and old telephone imagery integrated within the designs. These elements were used to evoke a nostalgic feeling of human connection and communication, referencing slower and more personal forms of interaction from the past. Combined with symbolic angel-inspired motifs, the graphics create a balance between sentimentality and contemporary streetwear aesthetics.
Alongside the garments, the project also introduced a sustainable and interactive packaging concept. Each purchase included a biodegradable pot connected to the garment tag: once removed, planted with soil, and watered, the packaging would gradually grow into a small tree. This transformed the packaging into an extension of the collection’s message, encouraging interaction, care, and environmental awareness beyond the garment itself.
